NOTES:
This race started as a 5K in 2002 and was lengthened to a 4 mile in 2003.
This is the 6th annual running of this race as a 4 mile.
All proceeds from the race benefit the Jacksonville High School track team.
The Jacksonville High School boys track team won the state 4A championship in 2007.

THE COURSE (SINCE 2004):
The entirely out and back course starts in front of the gym, goes around the back of
the school and follows the paved flat Chief Ladiga Trail to Warren Drive and back.

AWARDS AND T-SHIRTS:
Top 3 males & top 3 females overall (these 6 are exempt from age groups). Top 3 males &
top 3 females in each age group: 9-under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99, 100-over.
Each entrant receives a t-shirt. T-shirts will be mailed if supply runs out on race day.

DIRECTIONS  TO  RACE  LOCATION: 1000 George Douthit Drive SW
From Anniston, take Highway 21 North. Look for Jacksonville Medical Center on the left.
Continue on Highway 21 about 1/4 mile past Jacksonville Medical Center and you will see a
lot full of large yellow school buses on the right. When you are directly in front of this lot,
get in the left turn lane and turn left onto George Douthit Drive at the first traffic light
past Jacksonville Medical Center. The school is on the left about 1 mile from Highway 21.

From the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 204 in Jacksonville, take Highway 21 South.
Go 2.4 miles to the first set of flashing yellow traffic signals (University Inn is on the left).
Go .15 mile to the next traffic light and turn right onto George Douthit Drive.
The school is on the left about 1 mile from Highway 21. The gym is on the far end of the school.

REGISTRATION  INFORMATION:
Fee is $12 in advance or $14 race day.
For Anniston Runners Club members, fee is $10 in advance or $12 race day.
